The Beni Ouarain tribes of the Middle Atlas region of Morocco are prolific producers of carpets because of the cold prevailing in these mountains. These are usually heavy long pile carpets to insulate and keep them warm. They are also used to sleep and the long-haired wool keeps their heat.
Our carpets are carefully selected for the quality of their wool, their design and their character. They are chosen as excellent examples of these vintage rugs. If antique carpets have repairs, we'll always tell you. These vintage pieces have character and are a great addition to any living space. These beni ouarain rug have a very nice average stack due to wear and old ones can be very low and almost velvety. When you fall in love with these rugs, they become addictive and your palette begins to change.
